Sheep skin slippers.

My perfect pair is entirely made from merino sheep skins, even the sole.

The size 10 Bootie soft sole in grey or brown. The color isn’t important, it is the feeling and the warmth of the slipper.

Waiting in a cupboard there is a brand new pair boxed and ready to wear when the current pair reaches it end.

The new slipper starts very firm and slowly relaxes and forms to the foot. Eventually loosening, there is a distinctive shuffling sound as I walk around with them on.

The sole starts with a rough texture and gradually reaches a deep polished texture.

At home it is my around the house footwear. If there is space in the luggage, they travel with me.

The old pairs are kept in the hopes that one day they can be repaired.
